Dudognon Cognac, ‘Vieille Reserve’, 20 Yr Old, Dudognon

The Dudognon family estate dates back to at least 1776 and since then they have remained one of the most admired growers and producers of Cognac by fellow producers as well as spirit lovers the world over. Their traditional methods, which include organic farming of their vineyards and no use of additives to their eau de vies, result in some of the purest, unadulterated brandy one can find and that is becoming an increasingly rare thing.

Just beginning to show some signs of maturity, the spirit is at a beautiful point between rich caramel and oak spice flavors and the juicy stone and citrus fruit flavors of round Cognac that make your mouth water. The chalky minerals and deep acidity allow this to develop well into the finish.
